Bia Technologies is a family- and veteran-owned small business focused on excellence in execution serving the needs of the United States government.

We specialize in the design, integration, manufacturing, and repair of military electronic and optical hardware, bringing more than four decades of knowledge and leadership experience working with the largest players in the space. We combine this expertise with the agility and passion of a family-owned small business to provide world-class execution in every project we take on.

BiaTech is based in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Skip Slezek

Co-Founder

A Marine Corps Veteran, Skip has been a leader in the defense design and manufacturing space for the past four decades. His experience spans a variety of roles, including Senior Director of Operations, Senior Director of International BD, and Director of Manufacturing. In short, he is an expert on how to execute on projects from start-to-finish.

Skip is known and respected by partners across the industry, having spent the majority of his career leading teams at L3-Harris (formerly Kollmorgen) before most recently working at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and Rite Solutions.

Sam Slezek

Co-Founder

Sam explored careers in several fields across the country prior to pursuing his passion for small business with his father. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Duke University (Computer Science & Economics), Sam joined the investment banking team at Morgan Stanley in New York City. He then invested in technology start-ups at a venture capital firm in San Francisco and Singapore, before joining Instacart to lead cross-functional teams of 20+ people. Most recently, Sam flexed his entrepreneurial muscles and led the Instacart's first in-store software product -- Scan & Pay -- from idea inception to launch (story).

In his free time, Sam enjoys acting, surfing, DJing, basketball, chess, and golf.
